Lukas Renlund is one of the most exciting figures of the new generation of up and coming photographers to emerge on the fashion scene in recent years. In many ways his works lie at the intersection of fashion photography and art photography. These photographs walk the line between elegance and edge and together demonstrate Renlund’s distinguishable, and innovative, creative vision.
He works throughout Scandinavia from his Copenhagen-base. Several of his series, first published in magazines, have ended up on a gallery wall. He is inspired not only by the history of photography, but equally often by graphic elements, film, painting, and surrealistic art.
